Description

The Shiyazi 140MW Hydro Power Project, also known as "the proposed project," is a diversion type hydropower station located in Meilin canyon between Daping town and Baicun town, Wuchuan Country, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, China. This project boasts a total installed capacity of 140MW (2×70MW) and a quoted discharge design of 145 m3/s, resulting in a power density of 17.4 W/m2. Key Highlights: - Estimated annual operation time of 3416h - Average electricity generated of 478,200 MWh - Expected annual feed-in electricity to the grid of 467,300MWh - Electricity generated by the project will meet the electricity demand of industrial and agricultural production as well as the people's daily lives in Zunyi City This proposed project will play a crucial role in meeting the growing electricity demand of industrial and agricultural production as well as the local populace in Zunyi City. Additionally, it will be able to adjust the peak in the local grid, ensuring a steady supply of electricity to the China Southern Power Grid (CSPG).
