Description

The Yiyang Xiushan Hydropower Project is a renewable energy project located in the lower reaches of the Zijiang River in Xiushan Town, Taojiang County, Yiyang City, Hunan Province, P.R. China. This project has a total installed capacity of 65MW (5*13MW), which is enough to supply electricity to the Central China Power Grid (CCPG) via Hunan Provincial Power Grid. With an expected annual electricity generation of 276,450 MWh, and an electricity delivery of 257,570MWh, this project has a utilization rate of 4235 hours. At full reservoir level, the surface area of the project is 6.3 km², with a power density of 10.3W/m².
