New Feature: Seamless Import & Export of ICR Credits
Carbonmark has launched a seamless integration with the International Carbon Registry (ICR), enabling ICR carbon credit holders to import and export their carbon credits directly to the Carbonmark Marketplace.
This new feature simplifies credit transfers, enhances accessibility, and increases visibility, allowing ICR carbon credit holders to reach more buyers. Stakeholders moving ICR credits to Carbonmark remain in full control of their credits via Carbonmark’s non-custodial account architecture. They can set the price and number of credits to sell via Carbonmark’s intuitive user interface.
Streamlining Carbon Credit Transactions
With this integration, ICR-registered account holders can now directly connect to Carbonmark, import their credits, and make them available for purchase with just a few clicks—no more manual transactions.
How It Works
Importing Carbon Credits from ICR to Carbonmark
Log in to Carbonmark – Navigate to your Portfolio page at Carbonmark Marketplace.
Click "Import Carbon Credits" – Select International Carbon Registry and click Next.
Connect to ICR – Click the Connect to ICR button and log in to your ICR account.
Install the Carbonmark App on ICR – Follow the installation prompt and accept the required permissions.
Select and Transfer Credits – Choose the credits you want to import, specify the quantity, and click Transfer Credits.
Confirm the Transfer in ICR – Navigate to your ICR inventory, review the transfer request, and accept it.
Find Your Credits in Carbonmark – Once approved, the credits will appear in your Carbonmark Portfolio and can be listed for sale immediately.
The same process applies to exporting credits. Credit holders can easily return their credits to ICR if they want to.
Exporting Credits from Carbonmark to ICR
Log in to Carbonmark – Navigate to your Portfolio page.
Click "Export Carbon Credits" – Select International Carbon Registry and click Next.
Connect to ICR and install the Carbonmark App (if you don't have it installed yet).
Select and Transfer Credits – Choose the credits to export, enter the quantity, and confirm the transfer using your Carbonmark PIN.
Verify the Transfer in ICR – Ensure the credits appear correctly in your ICR inventory.
