New Platform Release

To scale environmental markets effectively, we need to integrate fragmented systems and automate critical processes using advanced digital infrastructure. That’s why Carbonmark is advancing its technology and launching the latest version of our Marketplace and API applications, packed with key upgrades designed to enhance your carbon credit experience by improving usability and functionality.

These updates are designed to make your interactions with the Carbonmark platform more intuitive and efficient, giving you greater control and clarity as you work towards your sustainability goals.

Marketplace: What’s new

  • Simplified Account Creation: We’ve made it easier than ever to get started. We replaced Web3 signup with more traditional account creation process, allowing you to create an account quickly and effortlessly with just your email—no third-party Web3 wallet required.

  • Enhanced Marketplace Experience: You can now visually connect with the environmental projects through newly added project images. Plus, with improved filtering capabilities, finding projects that align with your sustainability goals is now more efficient.

  • Expanded Credit Categories and Registry Integrations: We’re broadening and diversifying the projects you can choose from on the platform. Agriculture and Biochar projects now available on Carbonmark, enabling you to explore emerging and impactful areas of the carbon economy. We’ve also integrated with new registries such as Puro Earth, the International Carbon Registry (ICR), and EcoRegistry.

  • Index Products: We’re introducing index products from Moss.Earth (MC02) and Coorest (CC02). These products let you retire credits representing various projects, diversifying your impact across different sectors and regions. It’s an easier way to support a broad range of climate-positive initiatives without selecting a specific project.

  • Simplified Retirement: Retiring carbon credits is now more flexible. You can instantly retire credits using a credit card or opt for a bank transfer by contacting our business development team—whatever suits your needs best.

API: Enhancing your experience

For businesses looking to automate their carbon offsetting, we now offer programmatic offsetting through our API. This feature allows seamless integration of carbon offsetting into your operations or applications, adding value to your digital platforms and users.

With the release of API v15, we’ve made several improvements designed to streamline your experience and enhance the consistency of data across the platform, including:

  • Improved user data handling

  • Enhanced price listings

  • Simplified credit retirements

  • Streamlined quotes and orders

  • More flexible carbon project queries

For additional information, see our API v15 documentation and detailed Carbonmark REST API developer documentation.
